Spark plug - change earlier than suggested interval

I changed my plugs today and only after 39,000 km I notice a difference in the spark plug tip. I am going to change them earlier than suggested interval.

What is the suggested interval rate? Any recommendation on plugs? (Im new to 4Runners)

I assume you have a V6? They look fine to me.

If it's a v6 you only changed them about 965 km or 600 miles early. The interval in the manual is 30k miles..

Going by the electrode, those are v6 plugs, copper. Not iridium or platinum.

Sorry, yes this is a V6 and the change interval is 30,000 miles (48,000 km). the older spark plug electrode is shorter than the newer one (the gap is wider). I changed it a bit earlier than the recommended, changed at 40,000 km.

I don't think it's a bad idea to change early. In fact I usually do.

If I waited until the needed changing it would be in Feb...and it gets COLD here in Feb.

I was wrong on my math lol it's 9650km I forgot a 0. That's a little more substantial than 965. 600 vs 6000 miles.
