spark plug gap?

You're not kidding, Denso plugs are indeed cheaper at the dealership. Problem is the difference would only save me $3.60 for a set of 6, and the Denso wires are literally 3 times the cost from the part store ($42 vs $135). Got a kid on the way, gonna have to go cheaper this time. Thanks for the tip though!

If plugs and wires don't fix the problem, any suggestions? I bought the thing less than a year ago and kinda got duped, had to get the rack & pinion replaced as well as some other suspension components, having trouble with wiring in the lights and this whole misfire thing...ya, it's been a ride!

Again, I really appreciate the help, hoping I can find a way to contribute one of these days.

ngk wire set is $49.99 at Auto zone

Any other codes besides the misfire codes? When did it start happening? Notice anything out of the ordinary? Is the misfire constant or only when under load?

Rockauto has the NGK wires for $27.99, plus cheap plugs. There's a 5% off code here in the forums too, look at their sponsor page.

Those are the only ones that came up. It first happened on a longer drive months ago, seemed to get better when I got home and just drove around town. Now it's pretty much a constant thing and I've drug my feet too long, trying to get my butt in gear to get it done.

It struggles to take off from stops, especially when I'm going uphill, gotta feather the clutch to keep it from dying. Doesn't seem to have much power to pick up speed on the highway either, sometimes worse than others though.

It would be worth it to make sure your timing is good too.
I have a ngk wire set that I replaced about 3years back when I was diagnosing a misfire. Mine ended up being an injector but I still have the wire set. PM me, if you want it you can have it.
