Spark Plug Wire Set

Hello All,

I ordered 6 spark plugs and a spark plug wire set. The set appears that it is only for 3 spark plugs not 6. Do you need 2 spark plug wire sets, or am I looking at this thing incorrectly. I paid $50 for this thing. It's all Toyota OE, i ordered it from a Toyota dealer.

The 3.4L V-6 uses a Coil Over Plug ignition system on the Passenger side of the engine. Each of the three wires you have will plug into the top of one of the coils on the pass. side of the engine and deliver spark to the plugs on the driver's side.

You got the right set... Go take a look at your motor and it will make sense.

Thank you so much BigFish, it is so cold outside now i will just take your word on it and thankful i don't have to buy another set for $50!

No prob man, I just had to learn about C.O.P. systems myself as I'd never had a vehicle that used one prior to owning my runner. The Coils themselves actually sit right on top of the plugs on the passenger side and deliver the spark energy directly into the plug, no wires involved... so you only have 3 wires to get the spark to the plugs on the opposite side.

You'll notice the wires you have are 3 different lengths... and should already be loomed together out of the bag from toyota. If you remove your existing wires and note their positions it's easy to figure out which wires were intended for which pair of plugs.
