Sparkplug mistake?

Replaced my plugs and wires today. While cleaning up I noticed a sticker stating dual polarity plugs. I was given single iridium plugs. Do I need to pull them and put the other ones in?

Yeah, I'd run the doubles, that's what its supposed to have. The singles will work, but they're not optimal.
Denso is best as OEM.

Most definitely yank’em out and replace with Denso or NGK.
Finishing up on valve cover gasket replacement and put a set of NGK plugs and wires in while it’s all open and easy.

I run Iridium plugs. They will work just fine but don't expect the full 60K miles out of them. Mine lasted about 25K miles before the gaps opened up so much they were starting to misfire. Problem with single ground plugs is that we have a waste spark system, which means the spark plug will fire once on the combustion cycle and again on the exhaust stroke. Two ground plugs last twice as long.

But since you've installed the plugs, the store won't take them back. Just drive happy.

NO need, they use dual ground to slow down the wear on the electrode due to the second spark created at the exhaust stroke (waste spark). I have single ground Pt twin tip plugs (those wear less than conventional Cu) so I can still get the same mileage.

Sometimes the dual ground is also used in a tight combustion chamber to ensure complete combustion. Plus it’s an unshrouded spark kernel. With multiple ground paths the spark will always happen where the highest concentration of fuel mixture.

All my ninjas used the same EK style plug and they were Coil on plug.
