Is this still happening to you with the TC Gussets? I have a spare set of spindles I'm getting ready to add the gussets to. Just happened to run across this post looking at LR UCA history.

I've switched to total chaos uca's and they still hit just slightly. Nothing I'm too worried about though.

After reading through this I have the understanding that the damage to the OP's vehicle most likely occurred because it was installed and flexed before aligned. I am not by any means jumping on the OP for this. We all have to learn one way or another. That is why I've come to rely fairly heavily on this forum. For without it I would surely be doing plenty of these things myself and having to learn the hard way.
I was wondering because I have recently picked up some SPC Light Racing upper control arms and now I'm at the point where I'm considering what lift I want to go with. I saw that Total Automotive was having a summer sale and that among other things the King coilovers where on sale and they are not that much more then the Toytec Boss coilover. I just wanted to make sure that the King coilover, extended travel or otherwise, would not be in conflict with the SPC upper control arm. I have not entirely decided that's the route I'm going but I figure if there's an issue that will make my choice a little bit easier. This was a post I came across in my research.
Anyone run King coilovers with SPC LR UCAs? Extended or standard length?

I have the same issue... Although it has started ripping the boot on the ball joint. I'm going to notch out the tower and call it good. It is definitely the upper ball joint making contact I can attest to that, but really I don't see it being a huge issue, annoyance yes, but dangerous, no.

Right on.
I talked to both SPC and Toytec today to ask if there is any conflict between SPC UCAs and various coilovers, (King Boss). They said that none of those interfered with each other on their own. Toytec did say that maybe the King extended coilovers not might beven the best combination with the SPC UCAs. SPC said that it shouldn't be an issue.
I think the problem is that there are so many different combinations of coilovers, UCAs, springs, and shocks, that it makes it impossible for companies to definitively say that there product will work with another product. I got the feeling that they were using the word should a lot. SPC came right out and said that they don't say that this will work with that because they can't test everything. And I guess that makes something like this forum a bridge of information between what should and what does. And even that has its own limitations.
