SPC vs OEM Cam Bolts

Planning on swapping out my Lower control arms next weekend along with the cam bolts.

I've read some bad things about Moog, so I just wanted to get some reviews on SPC Cam Bolts kit.

They're identical. I have the SPC and going back to OEM. Better design that holds settings.

Save the hassle and go with oem. Too many treads on the web about the moog and spc seizing.

Seizing or failing? The OEM ones seize too which is why so many including myself had to replace the cam bolts.

I currently have Moog greasable ones I'm trying but I will say the OEMs look more stout.

i used the SPC because I had no choice and was in a bind. They are working good for me. No issues with the alignment. I did grease them up really good before installing them so I hope that keeps them moving.

Not sure about them seizing, but I have heard they do not stay tight and that they wear out bushings or something?

I mulled over going with SPC/Moog units when I did my lower control arms. Ultimately I just applied a light coat of anti-seize to all the non-threaded portions of the sleeves, bolts, and the back of the cams when I installed new Toyota hardware. Additionally I made sure to torque all my cam bolts to at least 100ft.lbs. (Factory Spec, though recently I pushed it to 120ft.lbs) after I performed the alignment. That's critical to making sure they don't shift when off-roading, you can tighten them to 60~80ft.lbs by hand and probably never notice them slipping on normal driving; but when you start wheelin' the vehicle you'll notice that it can slip on you after dropping the wheel off an obstacle a few times.
