I found a bundle that has 2x 6.5 and 2x 6x9. Could I use the 6.5 up front or are they too big?

if you're going to cut holes in your door then it does not matter if you install 6.5 or 6x9. but because they are larger speakers and their magnets protrude further out you might need to use a spacer. a 0.5" or 1" spacer between speaker and door panel. that way the magnets will not hit or rub against insides/window glass.

Rockford Fosgate R14X2's will fit in front no mods. If you want better sound go with either P142 or T142 but those will require a little modification to fit. For the rear I have Rockford T157's which are 5 x 7's. They bolt right into the stock location which I ran like that for a while. I ended up moving them up by the rear seats for better sound quality. Rockford FTW

I'm not too too picky on sound considering my speakers are the originals and all blown. Anything will be better! I ended up just going with the 6x9 for the back and lil 4" for the front so I don't have to cut it. Limited on tools

Ok so I spliced the wires and put the new stereo in today. It won't turn on, no power The old one was a 12 volt, the new one is a 14.4 volt dc, would it be the power cable from the battery not putting out enough power? Or someone told me I might just need a bigger fuse, but I can't find the fuse box inside. Where is it??
