Speaker replacment

I'm in the market for a new Kenwood head unit with nav. Was wondering is the factory speakers can handle the 22 rms watts these radios have.

Not sure but replacing the stock speakers will make a tremendous difference in sound quality.

Was thinking that I would do the head unit and the front door speakers first then, rear speakers and a rear camera after the first half of the job is paid off.

Yea I put one in right away and haven't had any issues.

My OE HU was a total POS

I replaced it with a $119 kenwood with around 20w peak. @ least in my case it made the OE speakers sound good enough that ive forgone replacing the speakers for now.

From what i can tell is that having an EQ and sound boost really made the difference..

That's what I wanted to hear. I'll bet the cleaner power the new radio will provide will keep me happy till I can save for the new speakers.
