Special price on 17" Dunlops

Just noticed that Tire Rack has the 265/65/17 Dunlop AT20's that came standard on my sport, on special for $61

I don't care for these tires myself, but I thought I would just pass on this information to everyone.

I hope I'm not in any vilation of the board rules for duing this.

With only 3200 miles on my runner, I havn't experienced all the negative words I've been hearing about them. They do seam to wander a little. I guess time will tell. For $61, some people could probally live with them. I'm thinking Revo's in my future.

I've had a good time with my Dunlops. I have 30,000 miles and still have good tread left on my tires, except the shoulder of 2 of the tires (guess I'm taking those corners too fast) haha

My dad's old Land Cruiser and LX450 *same truck basically* always had the Michelin LTX M/S Those lasted a looooooooong time.

I don't know what to do about the next tires. I hear a lot about Revos here, but I don't really go off road all too much. Would you still recommend them for people who stay on-road over like Cross Terrains, or anything else??

I had the Michelin LTX's on my 93' and they were the best tire I ever owned. 60K on them and replaced them with another set of Michelins the winter before selling it. They still had about 10 to 15K of tread life but I didn't want to go through a West Virginia winter with them. I had 2 sets of Wranglers before that but they felt too hard. Could easily spin them in the wet.

I would consider the Cross Terrains but it seams the Revo's are rated a little better and at a lower cost.

Let you know my decision when the Dunlops wear out.
