Hi all,
I was wondering if I could ask anyone with a ~99-02 4runner with a factory towing package installed a quick favor...
I recently had a new factory rear bumper replaced on my 02 limited at a local body shop and when I got the vehicle back, I noticed my wiring for the hitch was botched up pretty bad. The shop cut and reattached wires and even attached a wire to the middle of another wire from the side of that wire! The coil protective plastic that wraps around the wires is all cut to shreds, the wires are twisty-tied all over the place, and the whole thing just looks like crap because it hangs below my spare.
So, would anyone mind maybe posting some detailed snaps of their factory setup from underneath. I think the wires are supposed to be twisty-tied under the tire and maybe to the frame? My Runner is pretty "mint" and I like to keep things completely stock. I don't even want to bother with the body shop because they would probably screw it up even more.
