Specs for TRD Pro "flow formed" wheels?

Hey, I'm curious about these wheels. It's super tough to find a high quality factory size/offset spec wheel. Can anyone share the specs on these?

I assume they are 17x7? ET4?

Has anyone weighed one?

Where are they made?

Are they the same as the 40AE wheels (except for color)?

Will the dealer sell them to non-Pro customers?

thanks!

I saw that -- thank you!

BTW the numbers for the ORP and Limited wheels don't jive with my measurements. I show Limited at 37lb and ORP at 31. That site shows Limited at 40 and ORP at 25...? Has anyone else weighed the Pro wheels?

Not sure if you mean ORP wheels or the actual pro wheels but I measured 25.24 lbs for the first gen pro wheels.

I meant the OffRoadPremium 17x7.5 alloys, not the TRD wheels you show there. Great to have that data point. I have a set of take-off ORP alloys on my Limited and am looking for something different & lighter. Wondering if the fact the Pro wheels are "flow formed" gains a bigger weight advantage.

the ORP wheels are 31 lbs. 1st gen pro wheels are 25lbs but they are also .5" skinnier. Not sure if anyone has weighed the new ones, but I don't see much improvement in weight as flow formed is still basically a cast wheel that they heat and stretch. If you want more weight savings you would need to get TE37's or something similar. TBH, once you put a heavy tire on it, any weight savings on a truck is pretty much a null point and negligible difference at best. I wouldn't spend money on wheels purely for weight savings.

I hear you. It's minor given a heavy truck.

That said, when I moved from the OE 20s on my Limited to the 17" ORPs (both OE tires), I was surprised on two fronts:
1) I only cut 3lbs per corner. 73 net vs 70 for the ORPs + OE tires
2) I can definitely feel the difference in throttle & brake responsiveness. My guess is most of this is because the 20s carry their weight "farther to the edge" therefore it has more rotational inertia, but I was surprised by the difference.

So, If I can cut another 6lbs by going with another OE option, that seems interesting. Agree 100% on the TE37s (and I've looked). I just want to stay within a factory offset range and I can't find *anything* that fits that bill and is forged.

reasonably close to stock specs: Evasive Motorsports: Volk Racing TE37XT Wheel - 17x8.0 / Offset +0 / 6x139.7 (Bronze)

Those look amazing. Might be just too much poke for my stock height Limited...? I know it's only +4mm outward from the Pro wheels from the POV of tire positioning.

It will fit just fine and still be tucked. I am running 17x9 -10 wheels with 285's and they are still tucked under the fender. I have an ORP, but all I did to fit mine was fender liner mod up front.

Oh, let’s be serious, very few of the mods people spend huge money on this forum are actually a good value for money [emoji3]

But I am a sucker for light wheels and more power.

I fold :) . In for reviews if you do get them!

I didn't opt for rays wheels since I don't want to scratch them, but did get Summit offroad wheels which come in at 23.5 lbs each. size/offset would be too aggressive for OP though. negligible difference from stock ORP wheels. Magnuson SC helped make it feel how the 4runner should have felt from factory.

Yeah, I've been watching your thread on the S/C :)
