If you are asking about the V6 multimode in 4WD, you are not limited by speed. You can go as fast in 4WD as you can in 2WD...

Are you talking with it in 4x4 mode (V6) or (full time 4x4) in the V8 or are you talking with the center diff. locked ?? Personally I don't think there is a limit except you own on either mode. The manual does not say anything about limit's except for common sense.

depends on your locale - regardless of 4wd, the highways here are usually capped at 65mph or 55 mph

I believe this is correct for any 4th Gen... unless you have disabled the speed limiter in the ECU.

I chicken out above 100 mph... the worst thing is the rpms were not even at 3500 so it seemed the 4R want it to go far higher...

Is there a liminit on how fast you can be going when you turn it into 4x4? It seems to me that you have to be under 55mph, I can be going 57 and turn it in and the lights just blink. But the second I drop below 55 they go sloid.

I know for 2000 you have to reduce speed to below 62 mph to switch into 4wd... but no idea on 4th gen

Manual says 62mph going straight and not turning from H2 to H4. Doesn't mention any speed limitations from H4 to H2.
