Speedometer Question

I am upgrading my tires from 31" to 33". When going 60mph with the new tires what will my speedometer read?

33 / 31 x 60 = 63.871 mph.

It may also depend upon the width/aspect ratio of the tire. There are times when you can go to larger tires (i.e., 225 versus 215) that may or may not be 'taller' than were the originals. The "extra 10mm" could end up being in width rather than height. Any reputable tire store should have a catalog or book that shows how much of a difference there might be or if the larger rubber just might rub the fender when you turn.
