Spidertraxx vs. FJ wheels vs. Aftermarket wheels

So here's my dilemma. I can't decide to buy FJ wheels (17" alloy) or buy Spidertraxx spacers to use with my stock 17" SR5 wheels or buy some aftermarket 17" wheels. Price is not so much of a factor but functionallity and the amount that they will stick out is. How does the backspacing of a FJ wheel compare to the stock SR5 wheel? Right now I am planning on getting some 265/70/17 BFG AT's. I don't want any rubbing issues with the uca. Lately I have been really liking the stance from those that run the Spidertraxx spacers. How do the spacers hold up to offroading? Any balancing issues? I'm not real crazy on the idea of wheel spacers, however the spacers I think would allow me to run my stock wheels (or some sport wheels which is what I want) with bigger tires. Thats where the after market wheels come into play as I could get different backspacing so I wouldn't have to use a spacer. What's your thoughts on this?

Those size tires won't rub the uca but if you want the stance I have had spidertrax wheel spacers for about a year now with no problems

I'm looking forward to seeing the responses. I don't understand all that wheel mumbo jumbo, I feel like I've read enough to be an offset and backspacing master though.

All I know is I like the look of spidertrax but I'm like you with being a little hesitant. So, for your sake and mine I hope you get some good info.

I agree with andyman32392, I have 265/70R17 BFG ATs on stock sport wheels (which I just exchanged for my old SR5 wheels) with spidertraxx spacers. You will probably have to remove your mudflaps (up front) and trim a little of the rear of the front fender flare to prevent all scrubbing unless you lift a good bit more than I did (~1-3/4 to 2" in front).

There are pictures of my truck with the sr5 wheels, spacers, and 265/70r17 bfg ats here. I really love the stance and ride. Everything is smooth down the interstate even with stick on (instead of clamp on) weights.

If you keep scrolling through the pictures of my 4r, you can see a picture of the trimming I did as well.

edit: make sure if you get aftermarket wheels you get hub centric wheels or at least adapters.
