Hey all,
I've been having a tough time getting the proper seals for my 87 ifs truck. I am in the process of a full front end rebuild and after a full repack and boot replacement on both cvs (theyre the original OEM CVs in great shape, worth a boot kit) I now am looking for the seals that go into the back of the spindle where the CV enters. There is a seal on the cv, and one in the spindle. Can anyone confirm part numbers? Some of the sites are saying they are discontinued parts? I cant be the only one on this. I hesitate to put 30 year old seals back in. I'm not talking about the seals in the back of the hub/rotor. That is for the wheel bearings. I've already replaced the bearings/seals on that. Now since I've replaced the brass spindle bushings, I want new seals.
