Splurged today!

Had some extra money laying around after working at summer camp all summer and wanted to treat myself to something nice for the 99 Highlander I acquired in January so I went ahead and ordered two things today, first I ordered an full length rack from Josh at Whitson Metalworks and then I thought it would look good with a rear ladder as I plan on using the rack quite a bit. Found a site that sells the Gobi rack for a decent price with free shipping so I got that as well. All in all, an expensive day but I'm excited, both of me should be arriving at the same time 5 weeks plus or minus.

Late September, I'll pull the trigger on an ARB or an 4xinnovation bumper to round it out... Will post pics of everything when it's installed.

December, will get the OME or the ultimate lift... Gotta space it out for my wallet's sake

For those who have the whitson, could you post up all the pictures you have so I can imagine what it'll look like... I've already seen those posted in the other threads on here and I don't think I've seen one in conjunction with the rear ladder

Speaking of this, I have an ARB question.... I have the 99 tall coils on my T4R and I have very slight rear sag which becomes obvious when it is loaded down...I know the ARB comes in at around 80 pounds or so. I would assume that this will help level out the ride until I can afford to get the lift in place... I am riding on brand new 265/75/16 Coopers which fill out the wheel wells nicely... No winch is planned for now


Any inputs? LBJS were done in may and steering is pretty tight

Damn that is quite a buy and list of upcoming purchases. You might have a bit more sag up front, but not horrible.

Congrats. They look awesome.

I ordered one from Josh a few weeks ago. Last I checked he said he hoped to have it finished by next week. At my request he is making mine a little taller/deeper than normal. Around an extra 1.5".

Ill be sure to post pics but you might have yours before I get mine installed at the rate I'm moving.

Thanks for the tip.... I was using the standard search which got me nowhere... This got much better results!
