Sport Hood question.

sorry to change the subject but to any of these sites sell the rear hatch/tailgate? i have rust showing above the rear window and someone hit it to in the parking lot now that dent is rusting.

Most likely they'll have one, may not be close or the right color though.

i chopped out my hood scoop plastic, just the black portion,
all air is good air. right?

Some guys leave it in because it supposedly helps keep you engine cleaner. Some guys take it out because it supposedly lowers intake temps buy a couple degrees (proven on FJ Cruisers). Its up to you to decide.

Either way just be happy you have the decision to make! Us scoop-less guys are jealous!

The sport hood would fit the 06 SR5 right? I mean, I don't see much difference in the trim levels body wise.

It does not matter the trim level 03-09 Hoods are the same. I got an 07 Sport Hood For my 2003. There is absolutely no difference. As stated above one grill goes on the outside one bolts up to the inside, the hood is the same.

Yes AFAIK same parts fit both early and late 4th gens
