Sport w/out spoiler and sunroof?

Hey all,

I'm still on my hunt for the perfect T4R, and I think I'm getting closer, but I have another question:

I've come across a 2004 Sport V8 4WD that looks to be in great shape, but does not have a sunroof or rear spoiler. I don't think I'll miss the sunroof, becuase I have one now and all it does is rob my precious headroom (I'm 6'3"). I do want a spoiler, but I guess I could add one later.

Were sports ever sold without spoilers and sunroofs, or should I worry that this is an SR5 that somebody converted? It would have to be a pretty convincing conversion (has hood scoop, badges, silver roof rack, sport wheels). I haven't seen it in person to check for X-REAS.

How much am I looking at to add a color-matched spoiler?

My 2008 Sport......

......which I bought new, does not have either a sunroof or rear wing. Exactly the two things I did NOT want........but that's just me.

It's a V8 2WD, with liquicell leather, and JBL system.....my perfect Yota.

IIRC...all models have optional moonroofs & optional spoilers.

If you can...get one w/o the moonroof, because 4th Generation 4Runners have an issue w/ them rattling & not closing. A member here spent $1,000 for the daily to fix it. My close friend's is shut permanently.

I definately love the spoiler...it's strange w/o it.

I would recommend getting the Sport. I have an 2007 SR5...I hate it, all that chrome crap & black mirrors. Again...I would get the Sport, if you decide to not mod it and/or want to retain the XREAS, you can do a spacer lift or just pull it out all together & get a real lift.
