Sports edition question!

For those of you with a 2002 (or 3rd gen) sports edition do you get the same gas mileage as a regular SR5 or a Limited? I know sports editions just have some add ons compared to the regular SR5 like the bigger wheels, suspension, and some exterior extras. Also is it worth the little bit extra cash to go with the sports edition, cause im going to check one out tomorrow and its pretty much my dream 4runner (in stock form).

They're the same. You'll get a hood scoop and a couple other goodies, but you'll get 16" wheels, stock suspension, and the same motor and tranny as the other 3rd gens.

The sports also come with different gearing that's the same as the limited version. That does help on the highway actually.

I have a 2wd 2002 Sport edition. I get 19.5 in town and 21 on the Highway.
