Lifted black 3rd gen with HIDs driving down west rd this morning, your exhaust sounded loud too! I blinked my LEDs at ya

Spotted a Red 3rd Gen on I-80 heading West toward San Francisco tonight, appeared to be heading down from the mountains. Had a lift, all black wheels, a large matching spare tire under his truck and was carrying several bicycles.

Spotted a 2003-2005 V8 Driftwood pearl with black wheels, T4R decal on the back window and a kayak on the roof on I93 South in Andover, MA. Blue HIDs and yellow fogs.

Who are you?

Thats me! I work very close to this Americas tire. My buddy was patching my spare and said he saw you come snap some pictures. Nice looking rig by the way!

thanks, you should tell us more about your rig, i was admiring that rear bumper you have did you build it?

The 4th gen rims look good on there. :thumb:

Thanks! I got them for a steal. ($120 for all 5 and have 2 extras)

The bumpers, both front and rear, are the controversial TAG or Kensaw Mountain bumpers. I can go into detail if you like but lets just say I had to be very patient for the the cheap price. The swingout is nice but kinda scares me since it carries a bunch of weight on basically a lever. Hopefully welding a lot of the brackets will help it bit. Otherwise i just have to keep an eye on the bolts and check that they are tight.

I have the same bumpers. I re-worked the spare tire angle, and added additional gussets to the spare triangle. I feel much better about it now, and I trust my own welds. But I also check my rearview after a big bump. Sweet rig by the way.

spotted in Kvegas. Nice lifted black 5th gen. it's way nicer than the crappy photo.

Lmao you can see your work 1st hand! Nice.

I find this thread isn't effective. I saw a SICK 4Runner and he acknowledged my t4r stickers. We ran on the high way for a few miles passing each other and stuff, posted a spotted thing here and no reply. Guess he doesn't care haha
