SPOTTED Thread

They would look much better with matching rear fenders. It would also help to have bigger tires and more offset.

Shoreline Blue 5th Gen TE with a Gobi Rack and Ladder and what looked like ATs slightly bigger than stock on Hilton Head. That color is awesome.

Wheels tires and fenders will all be ordered in a month or so! Just need to put down money on my new apartment first

Cool, that's exciting. (apt and wheels and tires) what are you doing with?

I wonder if it's possible to make some for the rear for our 4runners.

I think it would look weird because of the doors

It would definitely be challenging. I don't really see a way to make it work easily.

Those look like ass. To do them the correct way it would take a lot of sheet metal work and time. It would look really good.

Where: La Paz rd & Pacific Park
When: 8:45am
What: Black 5th Gen TE, low profile roof rack w/TRD stick on fairing. Looked to have a mild lift too.

Just saw a real sharp 3rd gen on the 163 north at about 0820 this morning. Looked like it had a rear bumper with shackle, a nice front bumper, super dark window tints, a lift, and a Seahawks sticker in the top center of the rear window. I was in my white 5th gen and looked but couldn't see in the windows so I didn't wave.

That dude's a writer for 4WD & SUV, he has all that cuz the rear end is tubbed. He posted on 120 for a little bit and basically got berated off the site for the build. I must admit based on his articles it looks like he treats that 4r like crap and just doesn't care. Took a year and a half of issues for him to build his simple front tube bumper/winch carrier.

The only clean solution I've seen for the rear was this guy - The Rear Fenders In The Making - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum

That looks great aside from the massive chrome wheels IMO. The fenders are very well done but holy $$$.

Spotted yesterday on hwy 26 heading west, took the 185th exit with me. Really nice white 4th gen lifted front ARB bumper some LED lights, ARB(?) roof rack, hilift on the roof rack, sliders, lift and some pro comp extreme 2 mud terrains...

Last time I saw that 4th, a cute blonde was driving it.

Lifted black 5th gen at the piedmont cemetery, chapel of times, you park in front of me, I see it had bridgestone revo tires and lifted nicely.
