Spotted this truck on Route 9 North and Ryan Road in Manalapan NJ on Sunday 8/29 around 6:30pm. Anyone???
I saw this black 4Runner at Jackson Outlets on Sunday 9/5/10 around 2pm.

While it is cool that you spot some 4Runners in your area,
This thread is more specifically geared toward modified 4Runners that can potentially be forum members here on T4R.org.
We all know if we took a picture of each 4Runner we saw on the road, there'd be 4065092934865 million pictures of women taking their kids to school or people just driving their stock 4Runner.
So please, unless you spot something in particular (IE. Lift, Tires, forum sticker, wheels, rack, sliders, ARB/TJM, etc.), try not to clutter up the forum with photos of stock 4Runners that could literally be anyone.
No hurt feelings.

Saw a pretty heavily modded pre 2006 SR5 at the Tanger outlets in Lancaster today (9/11/10) around 2pm. It had chrome rims, different taillights and it was very shiny. Sorry if I didn't get a pick.

So I went back to re-read the thread… Nope, no where does it say that this thread is “geared” toward any particular kind of 4Runner… :nono:
I agree that there are a lot of “soccer moms” and “mall queens” riding around in stock 4Runners. On the other hand, majority of people use their trucks as DDs and do NOT heavily mod them. Even among the members of this forum, I would venture to say, majority of forum members either ride stock or have modded their trucks lightly.
The 1st picture that you quoted showed a White Urban Runner with X-Reas emblem on the rear hatch.
In the 2nd picture was a stock but detailed black truck that had a very wet shine. My black GX only once looked that good – the day we took it from the dealer.
Also, this forum is for the members to share their knowledge, experiences, observations, etc…
So please, unless you are an admin or mod, or an OP, try not to tell other forum members what they should or should not post.
And, of course, no hurt feelings. :bigok:

ok,as a mod I'll chime in and I do think the spirit or intention of the thread is if you spotted another enthisiasts who might be a member and not just your average 4Runner driver. I think the thread is geared for pics of more unique or 4Runners that stand out a bit and not just posting threads of random stock 4Runners since if I did that I could post 100+ a week and I'd be betting 1 MIGHT be a member here but if I spot a 4Runner somebody went out of their way to make different than odds are it is an enthusiast since 3 out of 4 4Runners on this forum aren't stock and might be a member here or on yotatech or another off road forum.
I'd only take a pic of somebody's 4Runner if they might be a possible member and not simply some mom loading her groceries into a stock '06 Limited.

Even though you did claim that there are "no hurt feelings," I do believe you've taken this way too personally. It was merely my attempt at keeping this thread and this board clean of unnecessary posts. I try to help out as many fellow members as I can on a variety of topics, and most people will vouch that I am a very nice person. For you to take a simple gesture and return with a smart ass reply, well, certainly did not show that you are here to be a helping forum member. Sorry if that is too much for you, I was not trying to find out how sanctimonious someone can be. I apologize for trying to be but a friend and a helper on this forum.
Maybe next time, you will see that we're all trying to help one another. Way to participate.

Who in NY here was on vets highway in the Bohemia/ronkonkoma/islandia area today? Grey 5th SR5, T4R.org stickers on both rear windows, Harley davidson hitch plug, side window visors, looked like lights in the front grill. Nice rig, that was me that you passed on the way to the LIE (495) as you got into the left lane.

For school... Montana I believe. But seeing as the picture was taken last month he could have been back for the Summer.

Not sure who Bobby is, but you sound like you might be right. There is a University of Montana sticker on the back windshield. I figure the only sure fire way is to ask him if he has been to RSM (Rancho Santa Margarita) or Trabuco Canyon, CA

I saw a mean looking lifted, blacked out, modded out Black third gen in Waco, Texas the other day. If anyone is from or was in Waco or know who that might have been, it looked really bad ass.
