Spoted an 06+ silver SR5 had a lift on it. You followed me East on Hwy 12 then all the way down Hoen. I saw you lookin'...you rolled down your window to hear the Brola exhaust:thumb3:. I was in a silver 07 SE with TRD decals on the back quarters.

Saw a Lifted 4R on 217 about 4 miles from the I-5 interchange with front bumper that was hauling a trailer today around 3:00-3:30. I think it was a Shadow Mica but was I was driving the opposite direction and couldn't look in time to tell. Looked awesome!

Saw a sweet 4th Gen on I-5 today going south (i was going North). I was on the phone and didn't have time get the window down to get a hand out but flashed my brights (still may have been too late). Had a ARB front bumper and some bikes on the back.

Spotted a black 5th gen in Costa Rica en route to Playa del Mal Pais late yeserday afternoon. Also spotted NUMEROUS badass Prados and Foretuners. Too bad my 5th is home is SC and we are driving a Daihatsu BeGo (FT FWD w/ locking center diff). The roads here are unreal. My wife and I went down a road that was perhaps the most hairy road I have ever been on in any vehicle a few days ago. The BeGo did suprisingly well, but I would have felt much more safe in my rig. It is absolutely KILLING me to not have it down here for this week's vacation.

Just finished my 1600 mile expedition to grad school and saw tons of other 4runners on the road. Especially in Colorado - I think the only place I've seen more is Southern California. Only a couple of built ones though, both 3rd gens near Gunnison two days ago (8/12). Also got one wave yesterday morning on 24, East of Colorado Springs. He was in a dark (black?) 3rd gen heading West, I was in the white 2nd gen with a bike on the roof and its ass dragging. I was too surprised to wave back, but I did give a slight head nod, though it probably wasn't visible. If you're on here, sorry about that.

Saw this 99? silver 4runner with yakima bike trays in North Hollywood yesterday at work. Thought it was looking good for a photo op. This is on the edge of spotted v stock runner. Although I think this is nicer than a stock runner. Even if it has running boards on it.

Looks like either an 01 or 02 sport edition, pretty stock.

2002's are the only 3rd gens with the "Sport Edition" badge on the front doors, I believe.
