Spring "overland" trip George Washington National Forest

if the timing was right, i'd be down for Moab as well. I've never done any driving trails there but I've hiked in the area a bit.

Spring 2018 trip will be to Moab, date TBD but I'm thinking late April.

Preliminary itinerary:
Depart Friday arrive in Fruita CO Saturday night. Begin Kokopelli trail Sunday morning. Kokopelli trail is about 150 mile 2 day trail into moab. Arrive in Moab Monday afternoon. Set up camp on BLM land outside Moab Monday afternoon. Spend Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday on the trails around moab. Head home Friday.

i'm thinking 2018 is going to be a Colorado drive for me. I'd like to drive Alpine Loop and others throughout the Rockies. Might take the family along...if they're nice.

This is the top of Reddish Knob elev. 4,397', I think the view from Reddish Knob rivals anything on the Blue Ridge. This picture only captures a small section of the 360* view and does not do it justice.
I can't wait for April, it will be so cool to see all the work many of you are putting into your rigs!

I can't wait. Got the cb and antenna in and running now and the pelfreybilt hidden winch mount and smittybilt xrc 9.5 synthetic both arrive next week.[emoji106]

Took my Sylvansport Go trailer out to test how it handles after new wheels and tire. It handles even better that stock!

I'm looking forward to seeing it in person. One of the things I like most about getting a group like this together is checking out everyone's setup.

Seeing your pop-up tent has me thinking about adding *one more thing* before April.

In summary, I booked a group camp spot in Green Ridge state forest, and it is their (GRSF) policy that all group sites need a porta-potty.
