Minor hiccup
I spent the weekend changing the brakes and rotors and had planned on an oil change and other basic maintenance this coming weekend but apparently the truck had different plans. Tuesday I noticed an ATF leak off my driver side bumper near the frame cross member. Dropped it off Wednesday and the dealer looked at it today. The good news is that I'm not coming out of pocket for the repair because of the extended warranty the bad news is I need a new radiator which they say will take a couple of days to come in.
I'm still in and I hope to be able to take the truck next week but worst case I'll be on my motorcycle and ride tail gunner.

Hi Everybody,
We have been working behind the scenes to hash out some of the finer details of the potential shit-show Friday. In summary we will have 3 groups.
Group 1 lead by [MENTION=125025]GHARP57[/MENTION]: This group will be the first up the trail and will spend the most time playing on the rocks and in the mud. Group 1 will be comprised of 7 Offroad DMV members and whomever Shows up first.
Group 2 lead by Yours Truly: This group will leave the parking deck at the same time as group 1 but will first travel to our camp area to lay claim to a sweet campsite. After we quickly claim camp I will instruct anyone looking for a easy way up to Flagpole to travel up Dunkle Hollow RD following [MENTION=156940]DavidR1[/MENTION] who knows the way. Onces the easy riders have begun their accent we will double back and head up Union Springs.
Group 3 lead by [MENTION=141503]carlos.elmotor[/MENTION]: Will be the third group and will proceed directly up Union Springs.
Below is a initial itinerary for Friday.
Please note if anyone wants to go to camp early it is easily accessible from the top of Flagpole.
FRIDAY - approximate schedule:
0845 - Be on the parking deck ready for the driver briefing
0845 - Driver briefing
0900 - Group 1 departs
0905 - Group 2 departs
0930 - Group 3 departs
1145 - Flagpole knob for lunch/break/play
1230 - All trucks rally at Flagpole knob for group photo
1300 - Depart Flagpole knob for Reddish knob (ALTERNATIVE: trucks wanting a shorter day follow Dunkle Hollow road to Switzer lake/camp)
1400 - Rally at Reddish knob
1430 - Depart Reddish knob for loop back to camp via Sugar Grove
1800 - Arrive at Switzer lake/camp for the evening - dinner, drinks, fishing, check out trucks, etc.
Every vehicle will receive one "Outbound Overland" patch, additional patches can be purchased for $6.

Looks good! Can't wait to see it in action.
I'm doing something similar. Annapolis on Sunday/Monday then Mclean Tuesday/Thursday w/ the RTT & awning.

Hey, I offered my house so it isn't a 4 hour ride or more for a bunch of people. It will be nice getting up at 7 and getting there by 8 :biggrin2:
No one had taken me up on the offer yet either so all of my space is still avaiable
