Spring Tire sales?

Anyone know if Discount Tire Direct runs any spring sales like the fall sale?

I was a day late on the fall sale...I am pretty much set on the Cooper AT3 P265/70/17.

They are currently $612 delivered...just noticed the $40 online savings must have ended last night....just my luck.

There are always sales. I wouldn't worry. If you really wanted that deal, you should contact them and see if they will extend it for you.

With the price of oil dropping like a rock, you could expect to see much lower tire prices since oil is a major factor in the manufacturing process.

Why not call around and negotiate with your local tire shops? A few I called all were eager to price match, and I got a few hundred off an initial quote from a Discount Tire

NTB/Tire Kingdom is only place local that carrier Cooper Tires. They wanted $191/each for the AT3.

I called DTD and they honored the instant online rebate via the phone. Got 4 AT3s on the way for $572. That's only $143/tire. Walmart should be $17/tire to install. Not bad IMHO.

Glad you got taken care of, but just an FYI most tire stores, at least in my area, were able to order the Coopers even though they didn't carry them in store.

I don't doubt that shops around could order them but I am in an area where prices and taxes are already high. I highly doubt anyone could order them and beat or match DTD.
