Sprint Booster DEAL for 5th Gen 4Runner

Anyone running this booster set at green 2. I had at 3 and that even seemed quick. I have been running at green 2 for now.
 
The youtube videos of these things and one from the competition failing while driving is scary. I wanted to buy one but not so sure yet. One guy lost all throttle response while being in the left lane of a highway and no, he did not touch the programmer while driving.
 
Ordered today and hoping to improve throttle response, and spouse asking why I’m going slow at takeoff. Promise this will be my last Covid-19 addition!
 
The change is night and day. Unreal.

In hindsight, I should have installed the SprintBooster in the dealer parking lot when I first took delivery of the vehicle.

Soo much more pleasurable to drive, be it around town or on the freeways. Finally feels like it has some real get up and go.
 
Jason, just looking to hear from you if there's a price drop coming now that Idrive is on the market?..... or is there a reason to stay away from it? thanks

Yeah that is where I've kept it too because I don't like the downshift at higher throttle input when it's not needed. For me the 2 or 3 setting smooths out the response ( or pushes down the curve of the OEM Drive By Wire rating however you want to look at it to exactly where I would want it at the lower throttle push of the pedal level if that makes sense ). There's been much flaming about what the product actually does but at this range it makes driveability perfect for me. I don't go to the red range I feel on the lower level its much the same as the green level anyway, if you're up higher then sure - big difference but again, for cruising you don't want to have downshifts occurring with just a small stab of the throttle so I don't select the upper range. Those are my 2 cents !

Yeah I decided to remove mine and sold it. This is just my opinion and I agree on your comments. What I did not care for was if going up a hill and you step it down I feel it revs to fast. Much faster than stock. I’m happy how it moves from a stop. It gets me from point A to B. Lol.

That's just another china unit from the same factories trying to be cleaver and change the name. It was called the WindBooster before to try to sound similar to the Sprint Booster, then they had a few other names, now the latest one you mentioned idrive. I've tested them all and it can't compare as those are all just generic programming and not tuned to the vehicle and not patented and when the circuitry fails you're stuck.

The good thing about the Sprint Booster is, it's Patented, tuned to your specific vehicle, made in Greece with 10 times better circuitry and I stand behind it and am the only one that offers a 5 year warranty on it. :)
