I bought her early 2011 for about $900 towed to my home then a junkyard to pull a motor for $400. Here's the guy telling me he want's 1k and uses it as a dog shelter when it rains....

Then started the sliders & IFS suspension lift from old man emu with some new wheels :












Ran that for a few months then the motor blew again

this time I rebuilt the motor (3.Sl0) and added LCE headers and LCE Y-pipe.

went wheeling once with the lift and blew the front diff (yes once) oh what to do fix the front diff regear and lock it or SAC time......

It only made sense











Dual cases









remodified the lce y-pipe and new drive shafts front and rear with dual case skid



The day I got her back



Towing a jet ski thats about all she can handle; some first time out poser shots.

Thanks fellas, yes a lot of work blood and sweat went back into this thing it been my project for the last few months. My son loves it wife hates it because I'm always wrenching on it. Yes more than a dog shelter, now it's my shelter (my new doghouse)

You know I love it! I got a nice 2" lift out of the deal. Looks great and I bet it rides better than it looks.

@FOG thanks and I hope to make it in October.... The 3.0 scares me going that far and I have to calculate gas a Lil strapped on funds at the moment but possible

@IBE I already priced the swap Of a 3.4 and that's what I would like to drop in too. The domestics have lots of power but I'm a Yota enthusiast and used to own a taco with a 3.4 and I regret ever selling it!

@hoenah those are 285/75/16 thinking well not thinking I already switched the wheels onto my tacoma and the wheels from my taco on the runner thinking of going 35 on 17's

What lift are you putting in?

Right now I have a slight torsion up front and spacer in the rear (gen2) probably wont go higher as its my daily driver and rarely sees any off-road time. 16" rims suck but I love my limited 5spokes haha can't get rid of um
