Already emailed John to see if it's compatible with the 5th gen flat utility rack. I'll post his response.

Very cool! It's on their website paired with the FJ utility rack for $1125 ($350 over the base price). I was leaning toward getting a Gobi but, if it fit's the 4Runner rack, I'm going with the Baja...
Baja Rack FJ Spy Light

Unfortunately it will not fit the current 5th gen racks that Baja makes because it needs that special window in the rack to fit through, which ours don't have. They're looking into making a retrofit kit for the basket style racks but flat utility rack owners are probably s.o.l. on this.

I like it!
Just got off the phone with John at Bajarack. They are busy today getting ready for the Tierra Del Sol Offroad Safari this weekend and will e-mail me the drawings next week so we can get this retrofit kit going.

Probably going to get the actuators and harness and retrofit the first one myself.Asked about the price for just an actuator kit as I already have a rack and BajaDesign 40" LED and he's asking Sergio and will get that info next week also.

Definitely a cool idea. To bad I should be receiving my GOBI rack in the next few days. I am sure I will still be happy with a light bar that does not hide when it is off.

holy shiteballs that thing is cool. where are the specs on the in-cab controls? does it use a roller-style switch to adjust the throw?

This is cool....I've often thought about fabbing up something like this myself. I have a few linear actuators lying around my shop that I've been trying to come up with a use for.

Very cool...at first I thought it was 1125 for just the spy light kit not including rack....

I guess this + my parking garage restrictions confirms my baja utility rack purchase.

Neat concept. It would be better if it lowered down into a box to hide that a light was there. Or at least a side deflector.

With this version it appears that with the light lowered, a person standing next to the truck could look up and see the leds pointing down towards the roof.
