Awesome pictures sir! That was very cool to see, and I consider you a lucky SOB to have enjoyed such a trip. My wife and I went to Alaska last year and I remember seeing Orcas, and Fin Whales, and Grizzlies, and so on and I remember the feeling of seeing them was incredible. We talked of then, and dream still, of visiting Africa one day.
To most people these animals exist only on the Discovery channel. It's almost surprising to see that they are really out there, roaming the planet, free as birds. It's cool that you got to see them in their natural habitats, doing what they do. Thanks for sharing.

Hey BFAD and thanks for the kind words! it was an amazing experience and I would really recommend anyone who loves wildlife and wilderness in general to travel to Kenya. I've been to my fair share of places (New Zealand, Australia, South Asia, and Europe) and nothing has come close to Africa! It's a unreal sensation to see these animals in person and, for example, when I heard the normal breathing/purring of the lion, my heart began pounding. I know it sounds foolish, but it's true. Oh and by the way, I heard from someone while I was there that we might be the last generation to see lions roaming in the wild (not sure if this is factual but an interesting though).
Oh and awesome 4runner man! I didn't know you purchased a CBI rear bumper with swingout! Really makes your 4runner look great! Keep up the good work!

2nd year med school is tough. hands down.
Anyway, I've done two things to the 4runner.
1. I finally purchased rigid industry duallys for the front (got a good deal for $170)
2. Lowered the roof rack drastically. I did this to improve my MPG.
I will post pictures this weekend.
On another note, my parents are looking for a 5th Gen so that is exciting. If you guys follow the 5th gen thread, you know how my family got screwed by a dealership in Texas. Still in search though!
Anyway, I've done two things to the 4runner.

Well gentlemen, it's definitely been an honor being apart of the 3rd gen section of this forum. I know I have not been active but I just wanted to let you all know that I sold the 4runner a couple of days ago.
All you guys were very helpful and I hope my 2 write-Ups on the satoshi grill and projector retrofits can give some direction to those in need.

so i would like to ask where you got the 99 tall coils and tokico struts from. as i to have a 2wd and dont want a serious lift kit put on.
