squeaky Clutch spring

I am 3 days new to this 4R and it has a squeaky clutch. I looked under there and saw a spring that looks to be mounted to the pedal.
is there any way to fix the spring creaking. I have sprayed a little silicon spray to try and help it, but its better but still there.

any Idea's would be greatly appriciated.

I know this was a fairly common problem with the 1st gen Tacoma's. I know I had that issue with mine. Try this:

Try WD-40 on it and also lift the hood and spray the moving parts in there as well. You have to spray the area where the c.pedal pivots also. It's up in there and hard to get to, but by using the red straw you can shoot some up there.

I took care of the same problem inside about the same number of days with the new-to-me '97.
While under there adjusting the clutch release point, I removed the clevis/linkage to the clutch cylinder and cleaned/re-lubed the pin & pedal. I also squirted some WD-40 up in there where the torsion return spring is. It's been quiet since late October.

I also used WD-40 for a while, but found that it would only temporarily fix the squeak. I think it's better to use an actual lubricant, but that's just my two cents.

forgot to say its a 00 so its a little different than the 97. both have different springs.
I did spray silicon spray and it helped, but still there.

just thought I would ask.

haven't checked the dealer yet to see how much $ they want lol

plastic bushing is the fix... I did it to my previous 4runner and it was quiet again. You'll love the silence... and the bushing was cheap.
