squeeky steering wheel

Hey guys, my power steering pump leaks and I plan to buy a seal kit and replace this weekend. What I'm perplexed about is when I turn my steering wheel, I hear a squeeky sort of sound behind the dash. Since my p/s pump is on the passenger side of the truck, I don't know what the sound is coming from . . . The truck seems to steer just fine, and the squeek is not all the time, maybe half the time. Crazy. Any thoughts as to what that might be?
