SR5 Flares, Attaching Door Pieces

O' knowledgeable ones,

I'm looking at how the door pieces of the black SR5 flares attach. I believe it's fairly straight forward (I have all the hardware, including the hard-to-find clips), but I had one question:

On the back of the piece are three pads. On the pieces I have, several are missing. Are these adhesive, or are they just padding?

If they're just pads, I'll sort that out. Just wondering if the pieces rely on any adhesion to hold snug to the door.

You are correct. The screws hold them well though if you can't find them. A few of mine are missing and there's no movement in them.

Adhesive, eh? Well balls. Thanks guys.

I've only got 3 of the 6. They're butt simple, so I think I'll try printing replacements for the others.

Besides that, looking at the clips and photos of them installed, it looks like there's a rubber insert or something between them at the door. Is that another adhesive tape deal?
