Sr5/Sport ED

I have a 08 and on the title it list Sr5/Sport ED. I have read the differences on the diffrent trim models and don't understand why they have it listed this way. Mine has mostly the Sr5 set up. Is it just a DMV screw up or what?

My previous 04 had Sport ED on the title, but, didn't have all the accesories of one. Thanks.

Thanks, I checked all listed on the other thread and decoding sections and still states a SR5/Sport ED. I guess you can call it a mix breed.

J.a. said it best in the first linked thread. The sport starts out as a sr5, then the sport options are added. Since there are no numbers in the Vin that differentiate between the sr5 and sport, no decoder or carfax will be able to tell. The limited DOES have a different number in the Vin therefore it will actually show up as a limited in a decoder or Carfax. Easiest way to tell a sport is the hood scoop, presence of xreas, the interior trim, the thinner spoke wheels, and on the 06 and newer the roof rack and side steps will be tubes.
