SR5 vs. Sport worth it?

I'm sure this has been covered but I've been searching for the last hour and can't find anything more than the X-REAS suspension and brake rotor differences. Is it worth it mechanically to buy a sport over an SR5? I realize there are exterior aesthetic differences hood scoop etc but I'm more concerned about interior and mechanical equipment advantages of one over the other. Thanks.

Besides the suspension which I like and the larger brakes you get a retractable sun roof and the rear window also will go down which allows for some open air travel in the spring and fall.

All 4runners have the back window that goes down and most 4runners have a sunroof. There isn't much difference between the sport and sr5 except the optional xreas, hood scoop and nerf bars(06-09) instead of running boards.

The front seats are much more comfortable and I like the interior colors much more on the sport. It also comes with the weight distributing hitch.

I believe power seats were an option on the SR5 and they're standard on the 06-09 sports.

All 4th gen back windows are the same. And all could get a sunroof. I think it was standard on the limiteds and sports. You could special order one without but they're kinda rare. Not sure what % SR5's have them.

I woud be more worried about: overall condition, milage, maintenance records, v6/v8..

The sport also has a real leather steering wheel whereas the sr5 has only simulated leather. Not a major difference, but still.

Those answers are pretty much what I was looking for. Nothing major making it worth buying one over the other. I purchased a 2003 Sport V8 when they first came out and I really regret getting rid of that truck. Different job now and I can't afford a newer one so I'm looking for a 4th gen in good shape. I'll focus on condition and maintenance etc. Thanks gents.

Awhile back I had someone interested in buying my sport and p/o his stated reason was the SR5 he was looking at did not have the rear window feature. Must have been malfunctioning. Good luck in your search.

Or the child lock was on or he didn't notice the button to roll it down. I purposely purchased an SR5 over a Sport because the only thing good on the sport package is the larger brakes.

My 07 sport came with hood scoop, sunroof and heated leather seats (not much use in Florida). I have to say, I love this thing.
