Hello all;
I have a 2003 4Runner SR5. I recently purchased a 2005 4Runner Sports Edition driver seat to swap out of my SR5 driver seat. As soon as I bolted the seat down, I realized that the cable wire harnesses between the two driver seats are completely different. Has anyone come across this and how have you dealt with it?
Currently, my Sports Edition driver seat cable harness is not connected to the car. As a result, I'm driving with the driver seat belt warning light on. Also, the driver side airbag light is flashing constantly. Will the driver side airbag deploy if I have a frontal collision? More importantly, I would like to modify the wire harness so that the warning lights are completely "off". The color wires between the SR5 and Sports Edition are completely differently. Help?
