Sr5SuShi's Build Thread

I dont wanna sound stupid but im tryin to learn, I know LC Coils are from the front of the Land Cruiser but are the shocks too or are they from rear of a LC

Hey no biggie! were all learning here. your correct on the Coils, but the shocks from a land cruiser go front and rear, they stay the same on a 4runner.

Exactly! That rack looks perfect. I'd pay you to build me one just like it....lol.

BTW, the rig looks amazing the way you have it setup.

Thanks man! we'll talk ;) let me know if there is something you want, i might be setting up a thread for roof rack building. I know a couple members on here are doing that.

There is really no noticeable difference, that i can tell. I enjoy the clean look and i crushed it on a rock when it came out from under my bumper....

That thing is a beast! The wheels/tires/roof rack/lift make it look like a silver version of MillerPKA's old truck. I think I saw earlier in your thread where you mentioned that his 'Runner had inspired some of your mods.

Anyway, I dig it. That picture you got with all the gnarled tree branches is eye catching, and the truck is so big it makes you guys look like midgets in the shot where you guys are standing at the back.

Thanks man! I know, i know...millers truck. just, i just drooled over it really haha. no his truck inspired alot of my mods. im kinda bringing his truck back from the dead, i dont see the new owner on here much. Exciting news, Im having it wrapped flat white this summer :)

we do look pretty tiny...

I notice you are using a wind deflector under your roof rack. Any problems with flutter with the rack at highway speeds. And this is one classy rig.

Nice work man! BTW, I picture creep'd you ....lol! I've got a flash drive filled with pics from this forum....and you just made it onto my slideshow! :)

Looks great dude... so jealous of the tires and rims, ive been wanting both forever! did u make the wind deflector for the roof rack?

Thanks man! I have no problem with flutter, only from going really slow...the chatter of my tires makes it vibrate a little, but i mean very little. ill take some close up pictures of the assembly!

ok thnx for the reply... i couldnt decide on wat material to build one out of and i have some frosted lexan laying around so i may just paint it black one i make one. Any suggestions on wat u did or would have done better to attach it to the roof rack itself?
