Wanted to post up some more pictures of what iv'e been doing to the 4runner.
I went to my local Marine store and picked up some stainless steel turn buckles and clips for my "limb-risers". than went to home depot for the cable.

I spent a little time welding up an antenna mount for the rear. It was mad tricky to make it the right angle to make sure it didn't chip the paint on the rear hatch.

Looks great dude... any reason u went with the covered cables? when i made mine i did it with just the non-covered cables and works great on branches.

I don't know how I've been missing out on all of these updates, but the rig is coming along great! Great roof rack!

First off, love the 4Runner.

That roof rack is SWEET. The leading edge looks really nice. Any plans for some lights?

The pics make me want to ditch my wheels right now and go with some of those TRD FJ rims. They looks real nice with that color.

The pics almost make the Runner look fake with those big balloon tires and the plain background.

Looks good, not sure about the limb-risers though, I don't see any trees around...

Thanks man, i worked hard on the roof rack. basically a gobi replica, with a higher mouth opening in the front.

I plan to put some Rigid LED's in the front and some in the rear for camping light. and back up light.

And the limb risers actually do help quite ahbit. one would be surprised. and theres a lot of trees here in VT. PLUS, i love al the dumb founded looks i get with the limb risers....:biggrin2:

The new mods are all awesome, as well as the new pictures! So you're basically a Canadian now, being in Burlington, eh?

haha thanks so much man! ya know that what i'm hearin... Its fun really, i just took a trip to montreal, canada just this past weekend. I waas not smart about it either. I had both my axe and shovel on my roof rack and a hatchet in the back.:redbrick: they asked me a lot of questions.... also gave me the stink eye when i was leavin.
