You really weren't kidding about being inspired by MPKA's truck. With the limb risers it's almost a complete replica... except silver.

I liked the black version, but I like the silver version even better. Keep up the good work man.

I know i probably went a little far with the mods... but there is a lot different about our trucks also.:nerd:
 
I like this rig! Kinda looks like Millerpka and Liny's truck had a baby...and this is what came out! lol!

haha thank you! Im diggin them. I still love the eyes people give me because of them. when i park it, people come up to me and ask "whats the wires for" :wow2:

This is my favorite roof rack I've seen, both by Homebuilders (including myself) and by big name companies. Very nicely built.. What metal did you use and how did you bend the pipe? I am thinking of rebuilding mine sooner or later to something similar to this.
 
Took some time this afternoon to play around with the rig. Ran down to my local outdoor gear store and picked up some cord. not to bad.

Im thinking my question might have gotten missed in the forum shuffle... How have you secured your spare tire in the rear bay?

Oh sorry about that. What i have for now, till winter ends. is that i have the tire stuffed in there with a ratchet strap up and over the top hooked to each tie down in the back. its a little hard to explain, i will take a picture for you. :)

alright i need your guys opinion... im planning on getting a new factory bumper for the runner, because my chrome one on it now is all pitted and rusty. should i go with black? or keep it chrome? watchya fellahs think :nerd:
