FYI. The dust and rock shield is not a dust and rock shield. It is a splash shield. They prevent the disk from geting wet when driving on wet roads.

Just remember to give yourself some extra breaking distance when driving on wet roads.

I did the same thing on my old green rig, just cut the shields off. No way in heck I'm tearing into the front and doing new wheel bearings just to replace those shields.

Anyway, after having driven with no shields for a year, in rain, snow, everything.......I couldn't tell a difference at all. My rotors were drilled and slotted though, which helps with the evacuation of anything on the rotor, whether it's brake dust and gas....or water.

So i bought some expandable wire loom in grey. I wanted to give the positive and negative terminals some more protection, also they look pretty sweet! I also added a new diff breather for the front and re-routed it to the passenger side of the engine bay.

the Old factory breathers were rusty and stuck open. (not doing there job) so i wanted to make sure it was breathing correctly

MAGNAFLOW EXHAUST 11125

Bought the magnaflow off Amazon for 76 bucks shipped to my house. Had a local muffler shop weld it in for 45 bucks. i also bought a Magnaflow tip just to top it off and give it that clean look under the truck. I love how flared the tip is. Tip cost around 55 bucks shipped from Summit racing.
Grand Total 176.00

Guys i finally got my bumper from Fastenal! WHOOHOO!!:frog: it looks great. Overall appearance was nice. Unfortunately there were two minor defects that happened to the bumper upon receiving it. i'm not sure if it happened before it got to fastenal or during the shipping. to big gouges out of the powder coating going into the metal... like the forklift hit it or something. oh well a little touch up paint.

Lightforce 170 Striker roof rack lights!

So i was over on TTORA and came across a guy selling a set of three light force 170's and i couldn't resist. thats what i planed to put on the front of the rack in the first place! cant beat 150 bucks too... :bigok:

Coolent hose heater

Got around to installing my coolant/block heater. Was pretty straight forward, it was a pain to drain the coolant and plug in the heater. I went down to my local marine store and picked up a plug adapter( not sure what to call it) basically its easier to plug in an extension cord than just having the block heater cord dangling... i just plug it into the bumper now. the pictures will make it more understanding. I placed it behind the Lightforce's.

I'm pretty sure he went with a car because he has to commute more. Pretty sure he sold it, then it wound up at a dealer in NYC. Then to Chicago, and is now in Muncie Indiana, about an hour north of me. I look at CL everyday and was really surprised when it popped up about a month ago. It's been at the same price for a while, you may be able to talk him down to a decent price.

Pretty sure that's a fake ad...no price and the description is just random characters.
Plus, it doesn't have 15" steelies installed. It was at a raod side dealer up north of Indy a month ago, but I haven't seen it since.
