SS 1.2 bilstein 5100 Q

I have the ss 1.2 lift kit and my front adjustable bilstein 5100 have 2 notches above where the bottom coil retainer currently rests. does that mean i can readjust them to get more front lift? my 4runner currently measures exactly 2'' taller in the rear then the front.

Yes. Are yours on the default "Steve" setting?

If yes then I would move them up one notch (just one) and it will sit a bit higher but it will be more stiff.

I'm assuming you are 4WD. If you are 2WD then it may be a different story.

Also, I'd suggest you consider calling Steve at Sonoran Steel and getting the advice straight from him. He has always been very helpful with me.

Are they tundra 5100s? Assuming they are you shouldnt go above the third perch on them with tundra coils. I never even went that high with mine. How much lift are you getting out of the front end at that perch height? Anything past 3" of lift will push your truck pretty hard. Stuff wears faster, gets harder to align, cvs break easier. if your at 3" front lift your best bet is to drop the rear down with some different springs. If you like the height then add a body lift.

X2 on what he said ^. I will say when I got mine from him they were on the second perch. Which means they had 3 more spots to go up not two. If they only have two notches left then he has bumped them up once already

I can already tell you that Steve will tell you to leave them where they are at. Any higher and you'll be over extending the strut, it will make for a rougher ride as well as more strain on the CVs and UBJs.

Good job listening to Steve. It will kill parts especially when off-road. I wanted 3" up front safely but didn't have cash fur coil overs. So I went with ome 881s, ome sport comfort shocks and Steve's 1" lift sleeves. I have full 3" front lift. Your setup will ride a lot better though. After my bumper and winch it really softened the front up but I'm about 30lb over weight for the coils. Also went with these because they handle weight better than the tundra coils.

Just did a quick search on his website and I cant find it anymore. He used to offer an ome front lift setup with the sleeves instead of a top plate spacer. He said it would give 3" full lift without causing to much droop like the toytec spacers can.

I dont think he offers that setup, if you where looking for those maybe an email to him. He may have some still, but looks like he moved away from OME up front completely.
