SSW wheel help. What’s needed?

I have a set of raptors coming in and need to buy the lugs but can’t find a good set of black ones. Also confused about ET lugs, do I need them? If so, any recommendations on black ones?

Also any particular valve step I should get? I don’t air down much but I’ve seen some cool sets, if anything I want to make sure they are black and not rubber!

Last, are there locking lugs? I’m on the factory set now so it would be nice to have a lock on the wheels again. Thanks!

Yes, there are Toyota branded black locking nuts made my McGard.

Both come in different depths for different length studs. The 4Runner comes with longer studs (for thicker heavier wheels, or spacers?) so be sure to get them deep enough.

I wouldn't get black as it's just paint and it will eventually scratch and rust. ET lugs will not work with those wheels. You need "tuner" lugs which are the thinner lugs that use a key. I would just pick up a set from Discount Tire.

As for valve stems you will need to just use the OEM TPMS as they have the sensors in them.

Not so. The locking lug nuts I cited are black chrome, not a coating or a paint.

The OEM lug nuts tend to be PVD which is much more durable than paint.

You can't use OEM lugs on those wheels. They need to be the skinny conical tuner lugs. I have the exact same wheels. Black chrome would last, but you would need to find high quality black chrome tuner style lugs

I also have the OEM black lugs to use with my snow tires on OEM wheels and they are chipping and have surface rust.

You could also go with anodized black. Not sure you want Aluminum lugs on a truck though… it’s common on lighter sports cars.

The Porsche black lug nuts are actually stronger than steel, They are made from forged aluminum: Just a moment...

I've been using them on my Porsche for fifty years now with no problems.
