ST Maxx at 7-8PSI

MY friend in an SAS Tacoma on 39's obv kept going. It started getting to steep and was already pushing snow and dragging my whole rear axle. Surprised I made it as far as I did. These tires continue to impress.

What size are they. Just got my 315s in and have been wondering how low I could go without worrying about popping the bead.

Glad to hear this I got them in 255/75/17 for my '01 and have been hesitant to put them on this winter and also my Michelin ltx ms2 or whatever they are have 10k miles on them and pretty much good as new so I don't need to swap tires but I just might do it now

285's,,,That's the lowest I've gone in the snow. When I'm rockcrawling or FS roads I don't go below 15.

For where I live I'd switch out the Michelins in a heartbeat. I actually have a set of those in my shed that go on the tundra. I have some videos of their performance at 32psi in extreme conditions as well. This video is in 2wd uphill at 8,000 ft.

I've gone that low with 265/70/17 on STT's. This was rock crawling trails, broke the bead with nose down and bolder pushing on the side also.

Haven't had any problem @ 10-12.

Here's another with them at 32psi..I knew I wouldn't get too far bc of how steep it gets so I didn't air down. Turns out I should have bc I almos t made the first and steepest climb.

They are working quite well, thanks again. I have Chinese bar and rigid ambers on initially. I may have turned the bar off.

Here's a bad vid of the last stretch that I made it up that day. My buddy in an sas with 39's was infront of me. You can see where his diff was dragging, so you know I'm really dragging. Snowmobile tracks to the right.

Sidewall is barely flexing there, I'd keep going lower. I've been running 5psi on 305/70/17s MTRs on a damn heavy 5th gen with great success lately. Would recommend a larger face 0-15psi gauge for more accurate pressure. I use a Joe's Racing 0-15 from Amazon for $25
