STA fuse question.

Just scrapped my XREAS and my mechanic said he "moved the STA fuse two slots". He thought it stood for stability relating to the XREAS so he took it out of commission. That is the first I have ever heard of messing with STA fuse when scrapping XREAS. Is that moving of the fuse going to cause me issues?

To my knowledge, which is limited, XREAS is a closed system. Anolog. I removed mine without removing any electronic based fuse. I would chat J.A. on this forum asap.

With the XREAS there is no electronic system that goes with it, the entire system is analog like wingman707 stated, I've removed these system before and never modified anything with the electical system

If it's not related to the XREAS in any way, what does it do? Since it's been moved is there a high likelihood something is about to go wrong?

It is part of the starter system and it powers communication between the starter and ecu iirc. Put it back.
