Starting issues/ injectors ???

I have a 1998 Limited with a V6. I recently replaced my fuel injectors with some rebuilt Denso fuel injectors purchased from ODS Tiger on eBay.
I was getting a misfire on 5. After a new coil pack, next was the injector. The plug wires and plugs had les than 15k on them.

I figured if I had to replace one injector, I might as well do all six. It was a fairly easy job after reading and looking at a ton of threads on this forum. I did an R&R on the valve cover gaskets as well

After completing the job my culprit of my misfire was a fairly new plug wire.
LESSON LEARNED!

Since the replacement I have to give it some accelerator pedal to start it.
It used to start right up before the change. Just put the key in and turn it, no gas pedal no nothing. Started right up!

Does anyone know what's causing this issue?

Any more check engine lights? Is it hard to start every time? Everything plugged back in after the valve cover replacement?

Maybe one of the rebuilt injectors is bad, in that it doesn't spray right away.Saw a rebuilt injector for a GM 3800 engine do this once.

If one of the injectors were bad. Wouldn't it have a misfire, not run smooth?

Once it starts; it runs and idles perfect.

Where at the OBX are you? I'm there frequently. I'm on Jennette's, and Rodanthe a lot. And fish the surf as well.

Since they are new injectors, you might want to pull the EFI relay in the engine bay to reset the fuel trims. It might be running too rich or something with the new ones until the O2 sensor kicks in.

I will give that a try and also will clean the MAF with some spray stuff made by CRC I bought a at the auto parts store.. Are there any othe suggestions? Where and what is is the IAC located and what does it to? I was reading anothe post concerning this component.

Do I clean that witht the MAF cleaner as well?

Does the key need to be in the ON position when I pull the relay?
