PIAA 70456 Xtreme White Plus H4 Anti-vibration Bulb : Amazon.com : Automotive

I have had this bulb on my motorcycle for about 15k miles. It is twice as bright as the stock headlight, and the best upgrade you can get without doing an HID retrofit. I believe our 4Runners use an H4 bulb as I was considering using my old headlight bulb from the motorcycle when one went out on the runner, but decided against it and went with some Silverstars on the Runner instead. I plan to order a set of these and keeping the Silverstars as spares when I can scrape up the $$$? 80 bucks is a lot form bulbs, but it is worth every penny. PIAA has always made some of the highest quality lighting products.

My pet peeve is 'lose' vs 'loose'.

You don't 'loose' your keys.

I've thought about doing something to brighten up my headlights. Especially now that it's dark before I even leave work.

The last car I had I usually put Silverstars in, but dang those things burned out fast. Haven't had to replace the bulbs in the 4R yet.

A guy at work put some HIDs or something in his truck. He had to rewire some crap and put in a transformer or something. He has issues sometimes. I don't want issues. Not sure it's worth it, but have been tempted.
