Static in JBL CD Player?

On my newly acquired Sport model I noticed some crackling noises when certain CD's play on the JBL multi-disk, when the volume is above say 54 or so. I couldn't find on here where others are talking about it, but there appears to be a TSB.

Anybody else have this, and what causes it?

(I'm building my warranty list to have them fix when I take it in for its 30k maintenance. List now includes: sulfer smell, trip computer, alarm not function & trip computer. What else might I look for?)

i found my cd player crackled more with burned CD's and even regulars if they had some scratches. I bought a cd cleaning kit, but havent thought to bring it out to the 4runner and try it out...
I ll post up if this seems to be a solution.

As I mentioned, there is a TSB that mentions the JBL, but I don't know if it pertains to this.
