Stay away from Flexalite 675 for 3rd Gens!

I purchased a Flex-a-lite 675 dual electric fan for my 2000 T4R, 4WD Limited. This thing was a piece of junk. I bought it in May of this year (2010) and it crapped out in July. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a new one. It was the same flimsy, shoddy piece of junk the first one was. I went back to the stock fan. WORD TO THE WISE: If you are looking at a dual electric fan for your 3rd gen and you are gravitating towards flex-a-lite, run as far and as fast as you can AWAY from their junk. That particular model (675) is garbage. Perhaps their other products are better. To think I risked my engine and everything else for that piece of junk makes me feel like a real moron.

Did you end up sticking with the stock, belt driven fan? I want to upgrade my old fan with a more efficient electric one, but I do not want to down grade in performance or quality. Thanks in advance.

I was seriously considering this exact model dual fan since my friend has it and swears by it's quality and performance.....now i'm thinking twice!:redbrick:
