Steering noise after body lift

I just installed my 1" BL last night. Now when I turn the steering wheel about 30% to the right it makes a growling noise, but just at a certain spot in the range of motion. Any one have any ideas? Is my power steering pump gonna die?:shrug:

Did you loosen the steering shaft clamp before you installed the BL and tighten it back up in the new position?

x2. but i got the extension for safe measure so i had to loosen the rag joint anyways.

I loosened the rag joint bolts. After I lifted it I realized I should have loosened the splined shaft clamp instead, which i did afterwords in order to install the aluminum spacer provided with the kit. It was pulling a little becuase I left the rag joint bolts in the holes just loosened all the way. Could this have caused damage?

It the TIRE rubbing on the BUMPER!!! I think it is because the 2 outermost mounts bolt to the BODY and the other bolt to the frame. Therefore, the bumper is at a downward angle and pushes the back of the bumper that acts as part of the wheelwell, into the tire.

THat is what I was thinking. If you didn't lift the bumper, it is angled slightly toward the tires, and therefore will rub on them when your turn, ...., probably right around 30 deg.
