torque steer is what it's called i guess.

Torque steer is not what you are experiencing. Torque steer occurs on front wheel drive cars where the axles are of different lengths, the wheel that has the shorter axle gets more torque than the wheel that has the longer axle. Wikipedia explanation here. There are a number of causes other than different axle lengths, but the cause of torque steer is always that one wheel gets more torque than another and occurs only when drive wheels are also steering wheels.

The problem you are having is a thrust angle issue, where the drive wheels and axle are coming out of alignment with the body of the vehicle:

had some time to do more looking and sure enough, the rear bushing on the right rear lower CA is torn. i can move the arm by hand. not good. perhaps the cause of the torque steer. although the numbers are right on the alignment machine, the right front tire is getting worn on one side perhaps due to this.

The tire wear is likely caused by the thrust angle issue, yes. When you are stationary, decelerating, or otherwise not under load, your rear axle angle (thrust angle) is aligned with the vehicle and thus doesn't appear out of alignment on an alignment machine. When the rear axle is under load, such as when you're cruising or accelerating, the weak bushing compresses or slips and that side of the axle pushes forward. This throws off the alignment and you have to turn the front tires to compensate. Since the tires being turned adjusts the geometry of the front end, you can get uneven tire wear.

big time. it drives like the drawing in the middle. for sure need to get replacing arms asap.
